This Privacy Policy describes how randomcam.app collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Service.
• Account information (via Google): name, email, profile picture.
• Reports: reason, category, and details you provide.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, user-agent string.
• Hashed identifiers: one-way hashes of IP addresses and device fingerprints, used for security and ban enforcement.
• Chat transcripts: message text stored for safety, moderation, and abuse prevention.
• Connection logs: timestamps of when users join and leave the Service, for security and traffic analysis.
To help keep the Service safe and enforce our rules, we may retain chat transcripts for a limited period. These are used only for moderation, abuse prevention, and responding to reports, and are automatically deleted after our retention period.
We use information to operate the Service, authenticate accounts, match users, moderate content, enforce bans, process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
We may share information with service providers (e.g., Stripe, moderation vendors), for legal compliance, in business transfers, or with your consent. We do not sell your personal information.
Chat transcripts and connection logs are retained for a limited period (typically 30 days) and then automatically deleted. Report transcripts and evidence may be retained as needed to enforce bans and review reports. Account information is retained while active. Ban records (hashed identifiers) are retained to enforce bans.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact privacy@randomcam.app to exercise these rights.
The Service is for adults 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
